In 2005, she started working for the Fox News Channel in general tasks. After a few years she was made an anchor on Fox Report Weekend. Julie Banderas reported several key events in her career including the hurricane Dennis. Her disappearance as US college student Natalee Hooley and Terri Schiavo's case in court. The year 2004, she was awarded an Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award, for covering the Republican National Convention. A flamboyant journalist, she attracted worldwide media attention when she blasted the US President Donald Trump for his derogatory statement about another TV anchor.
