Ky-ManiKy-Mani joined forces with Praswell, (Fugees), to sing Eddy Grant's cult song "Electric Avenue". In the moment that Ky-Mani was on stage at Midem which is an international music concert which was held in Miami for its first time, the extent of his star power was clear. Catering to an international audience inside the capacity-packed Cameo Theatre, Ky-Mani delivered an explosive set which aired live on CANA (Caribbean News Agency) to 36 countries. Ky-mani Marley has begun work on his sixth studio album. It will highlight his own personal development as well as show the diversity of his persona. It's a sound that's urban which has its roots in reggae and hip hop. This album will be an exciting departure from synthetic pop which is typically considered to be a part of this style. Instead , it'll be genuine urban hip hop and reggaefusion. New single "New Heights" came out on March 3, 2011.
